Wesley Post
Wesley Post is originally from Vail Colorado. He started playing volleyball at the ripe
old age of 8, though did not start competing until the age of 13 with his father in his first
“B” tournament. Throughout the years Wes has become much more competitive with
volleyball, playing in the Colorado Professional Volleyball circuit until he moved to
Southern California 6 years ago, where he now holds a “AA” rating with the California
Beach Volleyball Association, and competes in the AVP Qualifier circuit. In high school
Wes was an assistant coach to the varsity girls’ volleyball team as they did not have a
boy’s team. In college Wes took his outdoor game to the hard court for Colorado State
University and became the starting setter his freshman year. Unfortunately an injury cut
his college career short, which led to him helping with the Woman’s Division 1 team,
where he would first start his outdoor coaching of indoor players.
